If tweet fails to load, click here. I've seen over 10 videos of this automated mother fricker fighting for its life over the past week.

Incredibly crazy how far we've come in 70 years

Is there anyone even left at the embassy? Let them waste drones so we can continue to enjoy these videos

When we say, "....shall not be infringed." what we mean is that — given adequate funds — we should be able to purchase and mount one of those bad boys on the roof of our home.

I love how they are all entertained while rounds fly overhead.

Hardly, if anything this conflict has shown that C-RAM is not as effective as we hoped for when it comes to defending against drones. Ive seen just as many or more misses on drone targets as I’ve seen successful intercepts.

The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad is widely recognized as the largest U.S. embassy in the world, both in physical size and scale of operations. Covering hundreds of acres—comparable in size to Vatican City—the compound includes multiple chancery buildings, housing for staff and security personnel, power and water systems, medical facilities, and even recreational amenities like gyms and cinemas. It was designed to be self-sustaining and highly secure, reflecting the strategic importance of the U.S. presence in Iraq.
This massive complex, which cost over $700 million to build and now exceeds $1.2 billion annually to operate, was officially opened in 2009. It serves as the central hub for U.S. diplomatic, military, and intelligence operations in Iraq, housing thousands of personnel, including diplomats, military personnel, and private contractors.
In addition to Baghdad, the U.S. has also opened the world’s largest consulate in Erbil, the capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan region, in December 2025. This new consulate, built across 206,000 square meters and costing over $795 million, underscores Washington’s continued strategic commitment to the region amid ongoing security threats and regional instability.
Despite its size and capabilities, the embassy has been a symbol of foreign presence and has faced repeated attacks, including rocket and drone strikes in early 2026, prompting the State Department to order immediate security reviews worldwide.
