World Baseball Class is so much better than contrived events in other sports.
It beats the NBA all-star and midseason tournament, NFL pro bowl, and MLB and NHL all-start games. Olympic hockey (which isn't contrived obviously) is the only thing that compares.

Damn, I was going to disagree but you might be right about the regular season part.
Although there is something comforting about MLB games on in the background every night through the summer. And regular season MLB is the easiest of all sports to randomly attend a game
