I think we seen enough. Just sit this 1 out and get ready for a run next year. Let’s just focus on getting ready for the LaneTrain Era right now

oh, and I’m sure it sounds like before long. You’ll be screaming. Let’s forfeit football season.

Yes, I think YOU SHOULD sit this season out.

Although, some comedic value will be lost.

Yes, because that is exactly how you develop players. By sitting and NOT playing baseball.
Dumbass!

Great idea. Let's just cancel all remaining games.

There are too many LSU fans like you. It's the main reason why I don't come to this board very much.

I mean, 2 titles in 3 years and you want to abandon ship because the team is going thru a tough stretch? Wow.

There are two types of posters in this board:
1) the instant gratification generation who want to give up at the slightest adversity
2) the others who believe in hard work and tough times. And how hard work gets you through tough times.

I thought I had seen the heights of casual fandom on this board. You are quite the fricking joke.

Lets be honest everyone. Right now, this team is not very good. Ok, that's out of the way. Why dont we just accept that this team must get better, and quickly. Is that a hot take? NO! Can they catch fire? Sure. Will they make a run and put it all together? Probably so. My guess is they get going sooner than they did in 2024, but finish with a similar SEC record.

Likely between 13 - 17, and 16 -14.

May want to win some games in the SEC tourney for comfort and go on the road to a regional.

My take on the team, and I could be grossly wrong.

To be fair…who’s really developing players anymore! Coaches just go bid for them and hope they pan out!

Brian Kelly was right

Turns out he wasn’t talking about only football fans

This season has really shined a light on how spoiled some of you are. A very large contingent of our ‘fans’ are front running pussies - I hope others have noticed this as well

3) Those who understand we suck and this season is over but are LSU fans no matter what because it's what we do.

Just a couple of years ago, ole miss was in a worse situation than we are now. Their coach was all but fired at season end. They ended up going in a hell af a run and won the national championship!

Baseball is a strong game,,,you never give up,

By doing what... batting practice, pitching, or both?? Seriously, what would you have them do?

This team has had every opportunity to get right, unless you tell me they didn't do anything until the season started. I just don't this team has chemistry and Yeskie is a shite pitching coach.

The way things look right now that's fair, subject to the caveat you raised that it is entirely possible we catch fire and make a big run (a la Ole Miss a few years back when they were essentially the last team in but wound up winning the CWS).

CJJ has won two of the last three nattys which is crazy success, and I'm down no matter what, but I am definitely not bailing on our guys a third of the way through a season where we are winning 65% of our games.
