LSU Will Win the Series

Did I wake up still annoyed about that walk off? Yes. But I posted yesterday that Friday’s game was the most even matchup of the weekend pitching wise, and LSU has the clear advantage Saturday and Sunday, especially with their Saturday Starter hurt.

Let’s not forget the positives from last night. They train and prepare for SEC caliber pitching, and it’s no coincidence they were exceptional all night. We may have had 1 3 up 3 down inning and we scored or threatened in 8 innings.

Vandy’s runs outside of the 9th were mostly gifts. They’re not a good batting team. And I believe they had 2 total base runners from the 5th-8th. Their bullpen is even worse.

I don’t expect to score 12 again, but LSU will score 6 minimum both games. Vandy will not get to 6 if we play clean baseball in the field like we did last night.

Half of the SEC lost last night. They’ll be 2 or 3 sweeps this weekend, but we’ll be sitting pretty after our first road series.

This is truth, and the only sunshine pumping is from the Lord on this beautiful day. Get outside, mow the lawn, drink a beer, fire up the grill, and prepare yourself for a fun night of baseball.
