So one bad outing by Evans and he is now no good and one good outing by Cowan and he is great?? You have no clue how the game of baseball works. You do realize Evans had Anderson like numbers up until tonight don’t you? Sometimes pitchers don’t have “it” maybe next Friday he does hell maybe he sucks at ball from here on out forever. Without him last year pitching like he did you don’t win the natty. Some of yall are just retards about baseball.

That was Cowans 1st quality outing of the year. This may be a little premature.

Nobody is that mad Mr Evan’s. We just think he should have come out a little earlier when it was obvious tonight wasn’t his night.

I’m not Mr Evans I’m just not a moron I guess you didn’t read the OP. I never said he had his best stuff but one off night doesn’t mean you move him to Sunday. Cowans one good night doesn’t mean you anoint him the Sunday guy. Some of these posts are just ridiculous. Maybe it sounds better in your head or why I see is most have no clue how the game of baseball is played, or coached for that matter.

So you’d like to see LSU get run ruled now on Sundays?

Cowan destroyed Arkansas in Omaha last year. As a starter. We’ve seen him do it before man.

Nothing will change until after next weekend.

You don't run the whole rotation on short rest in order to shake things up.

Casan starts next Thursday, Moore Friday, Schmidt Saturday.

If there are still struggles, then you keep Moore and Schmidt Friday/Saturday and then use Evans on Sunday. If he's still struggling that Sunday (week 3) in the starter role, you move him back to the pen.

Luckily the schedule sets up nicely with a Thurs-Sat series next weekend so we can make that call, at the latest, in the third week of conference play.

I always thought our best chance to win a series was Moore on fridays Schmidt on saturdays and use evans in either game but if he doesn’t pitch then start him Sunday.
