I feel like people, especially politicians, love to exaggerate about getting death threats. Seems like if Swallowswell were truly concerned about his family’s safety, he’d drop out of politics and get a job in the private sector.

How many of these so-called death threats have been followed up by the FBI? Pretty sure he’s got a backyard for his kids to play in so I don’t buy that story for a second.

He would never.
The pay and benefits are way lower, he'd have way fewer opportunities to snag Chinese honey pots and he couldn't lie with impunity like he does now.
