Best tablet for at home scrolling?

Looking for around an 11 inch tablet for at home scrolling and youtube.

I bought a cheap 10" andriod tablet off amazon last year. Brand was plimpton for under $100. Has worked flawlessly. Use it for browsing/email/reading books on kindle app. I figure if it craps out I can try to find something better later but I'm happy with it for what I paid

Fire tablets have always been underrated for their cost, likely due to their app store. But for generic scrolling and YouTube type activities, it's spot on for the cost (without using off brand Chinese Android stuff.)

Side loading Google Play Store is relatively straight forward and opens it up dramatically.

True, but I'm never going to recommend to a non geek essentially jailbreaking a device. That's exactly the crowd that reads "Prime Video" on the app store and misses that it's provided by "Uzbekistan Fraud Ltd." in the package.
