I watched this show years ago up to season seven then a handful of episodes after but not all in a row. Halfway through season 10 now.
While the quality fell off after season 6 and season 7 was not great. Most of it after season 7 has still been good TV. I really liked the Fan Fiction episode.
But the first few seasons are some of the best TV. As a whole though I feel that this show while long running really was never as popular as it should have been. If your looking for a lot of show to watch over 300 episodes or 15, 22 episode seasons are on Amazon.
I do remember this board talking about it long ago but I just thought it was teeny bopper CW stuff. Until a girl I dated in 2010 brought over burned DVDs of the first few seasons and we watched them. But never finished the show.
Will try to finish in a few weeks.
What are y'alls thoughts on this show? Any fans?
I like Castiel and Crowley and what they added to the show.

did it once... can't do it again. TheWB/CW was notorious for filler/fluff episodes for every show they ever made. each season could be reduced to 10 episodes.

Wife (no pics) loves the show and I did my first watch a couple months back, well worth it.

Showed the show to my gf last year and we made a run thru the second season of their hideout being in that dam or bunker for the Men of Letters.

Show is a fun ride, just so damn long.

I agree that is does go back and forth from the main story to monster of the week. But the meta episodes are pretty great.

Love Supernatural. Season 1-5 is some of the best television ever.

It’s a great show, especially the first 5 seasons, that story arch is one of the great TV arch’s for a show IMO. When death shows up, one of the coolest moments in TV ever.

I agree that there are some great episodes post season 5 but it doesn’t retain consistent quality, the final season however is there with the first 5.

Hard show for me to rewatch though because there are so many episodes that are filler and don’t push the plot forward at all.

One of the best. No way I could ever do a rewatch though. 20+ episodes a season all over 40+ minutes lol

I dipped when they killed off one of my favs and then a season started with that dorky kid from the new guy being one of the supporting cast. Has been over a decade though so might be worth a re dive

Yes I agree you can tell this show had a planned ending. That arc to the gate of hell story was really great.
I've liked most story lines except the Leviathan.
And that Chicago episode Bloodlines was easily the worst one so far. I looked it up and found is universally hated was a failed back door pilot.
