There was a time, not long ago, when telling people they have these kinds of weapons would have had you labeled a conspiracy theorist and widely ridiculed.
Now it's crickets. Go figure.

It’s really underwhelming until they mount them on sharks.

Used by who? Iran?
I think these frickers lie a LOT about the weapons they have.

Yes.
They actually do have hypersonics. Theres footage from the 12 day war

Yeah, I mean, they released footage of a supposed test fire just yesterday. But it begs the question, why would you be showing off test footage but not actually use the damn things? The scoreboard shows that our Navy is fricking them up. A weapon like that would actually come in handy for them if they actually have any left. And I damn sure wouldn't be still doing test fires with them if I had them. I would be using them.

They might still have some but they’re hard to launch without launchers.

Could be a precision issue.
They can arc them into israel but cruising towards a (potentially moving) carrier is too complicated

What if you miss and hit another planet?
Posted on 3/5/26 at 11:01 pm to OysterPoBoy
We don't expect that to be a concern.

The Germans had hypersonics in WWII.
This isn't WWIII level tech

Cruising scram jets did not exist in wwII

Hypersonic in the modern sense, and correct me someone if I’m wrong, are missiles that can maneuver during hypersonic atmospheric flight and often during the terminal phase. Previous ballistic missiles almost all flew at hypersonic speeds during reentry, but flew at a predictable parabolic path.

A big difference between the V2 and what exists nowadays though. The Germans' rockets were unstoppable, but wildly inaccurate as they had no ability to be guided and had no ability to maneuver through the atmosphere. They often missed their targets by miles.
