Blowing up the Russia supply was stupid. Tearing down the nuclear Rx's was stupid, shutting down North Sea petroleum was stupid, Receiving from Venezuela was shakey, Receiving from US and not supporting US interests is really shakey, China/India will be frantic pushing prices.

The US energy from all sources and net exporter is looking to have by far the worlds best energy situation.

The North Sea decisions are especially asinine. If you are using the same carbon then get it more regionally so it costs less and uses less carbon energy shipping it to you. You also get more jobs, money, and security.

I wouldn't be surprised if external interests were secretly funding some of the more idiotic environmental groups. I believe in clean air, water, and wise resource use. But none of the zero carbon group have any rational options on the table. All of them would be helpful idiots for external parties to fund in the name of weakening Europe by deindustrialization and energy dependency.
