Is AI trained to have a gender? Or a gender bias?

Prompted by a silly text exchange with my friend.
So then I Googled if AI has a gender, and lots of the results were about the implicit gender bias of AI.

Do y'all think AI has a gender or gender bias? I guess it would make sense that it would have a bias if it's trained by people with biases and just indexes biased internet webpages...

I thought genders were a social construct.
It should be extremely eye opening for you that even a robot is hard for you to communicate, causing you to feel victimized. Maybe it is your biases that are the issue Seek help. Aren’t you a wife and a mother?

Ahh yes. The very subjects that a civilization must study before advancing along. Does a box of blinky lights, an insatiable thirst for cooling water, and expensive hardware consider itself a human gender?
