The team is inconsistent

Fielding is a question mark and the approach with hitting is disturbing against below average pitching. At least the pitching seems to have turned the corner in the right direction.

We’ve scored 15, 12, 21, 10, 14, 11….. I just threw out 6 bc it’s early. Guys will settle into routines, positions, and their role. Are we going to win the natty? Who knows, but our coach has a track record of being there at the end. Just find ways to win close games when the team is off.

Inconsistent at what?? Winning?? This team has won 10 of the 11 games they’ve played and are currently winning today.
Inconsistent at hitting?? Isn’t every team. A guy who fails 60% of the time, hitting, is a great hitter. Sometime hits just don’t all come in the sequence necessary to score lots of runs.
The pitching this weekend is outstanding!! That’s what everyone should be focused on, excited and happy about. The fact that we have 3 legit starters, and 2 elite relievers so far this weekend is great news.

We have not been inconsistent this weekend we have not been able to hit the ball consistently looking overwhelmed at the plate.

Baseball is a game of being inconsistent. It’s just how often you can be less inconsistent than other teams. 3 for 10 at the plate gets you in the hall of fame.
