I hate it. MLB got rid of it. Hopefully college will

They made it sound like should happen soon.

Nothing wrong with the shift. Stop pulling the ball and learn to hit middle backside. Simple

I like it when it works for us, but it’s super annoying when it keeps working against us

Anyone other than Yorke probably still beats that out though

They should be able to play wherever they wish, up to offensive strategy to beat it. Too many rules already

Why not just learn to hold off and hit opposite field.

When Ben was asked about it a few games ago he was pretty certain we don’t see that anytime soon. Mostly due to the offense in college being strong unlike the mlb

I don’t really have a strong opinion on it, but I wouldn’t be opposed. Most sports have limitations on where players can/can’t be on the field of play

It was outlawed in MLB because pitchers were already dominate and the scores were very low. Because of the offensive numbers in College baseball sky rocketing the shift needs to be allowed.

Just my 2 cents worth.

100% I don’t watch mlb but did they really ban doing shifts???
That’s absolutely crazy. It’s the pros

Not really banned you just can't have three players on the right side of second. Basically the short stop can set up anywhere as long as he is on the left side of second.
