Transfer of photo and video from iPhone and GoPro to PC. Also video editing program?

I started using a GoPro 13 in my travels and decided to start creating YouTube videos using photos and videos taken using my iPhone and the GoPro.
I am having a very difficult time transferring the photos and videos to my PC.
Any suggestions on the best and easiest way to transfer these?
My second question is which program is the easiest to create YouTube videos? I have both Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut. The Adobe program to be honest just frightens me as I cannot get a hang of it. I have created a couple of sample videos using CapCut using the app but I cannot use it on my PC because I cannot get the files transferred to my PC from the iPhone and GoPro.
Thanks for any suggestions or direction you can provide.

I installed iCloud drive on my PC, and moving pics and videos (not copying them) to OneDrive to free up iCloud space. It's been pretty easy.
What's the problem with the GoPro? I don't have one, but it seems like it's just another mass storage device:
(Similar instructions exist for transferring the SD card from the GoPro to your PC, but I'm guessing you don't have an SD reader yet)
What's the problem with the GoPro? I don't have one, but it seems like it's just another mass storage device:
quote:
Transferring GoPro Files to a PC
Using USB Cable
Connect the GoPro: Use a USB cable to connect your GoPro camera to your PC.
Power On the Camera: Turn on your GoPro. Your PC should recognize it as a removable device.
Access Files: Open "File Explorer" on your PC. Look for your GoPro under "This PC" or "Devices and drives."
Copy Files: Navigate to the "DCIM" folder to find your videos and photos. Select the files you want to transfer, then copy and paste them to your desired location on your PC.
Using SD Card
Remove the SD Card: Take the SD card out of your GoPro.
Insert into Card Reader: Use an SD card reader to connect the card to your PC.
Access Files: Open "File Explorer" and find the SD card under "This PC."
Copy Files: Navigate to the "DCIM" folder, select the files, and copy them to your PC.
Using GoPro App
Download the App: Install the GoPro app on your PC.
Connect Your GoPro: Use Wi-Fi to connect your GoPro to the app.
Transfer Files: Follow the app instructions to download files directly to your PC.
These methods will help you easily transfer your GoPro footage and photos to your computer for editing or storage.

I personally use Google Drive to move things from my phone to PC, but there are other options. The easiest way is install the Google Drive app on your phone and on your PC. Then files can be seen on both devices.
