Two more vacancies are reportedly opening at the U.S. Court of Appeals that will allow President Donald Trump to increase his footprint over the federal judiciary.
Just the News reported, “Last week, Chief Judge Jeffrey S. Sutton, of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Cincinnati, and Chief Judge Debra Ann Livingston of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York City, announced their plans to assume senior status later this year. Both judges were appointed by President George W. Bush.”
Senior status is a form of semi-retirement, and it creates a vacancy for a new appointee.
The Sixth Circuit has a Republican-appointed majority, while the Second Circuit has a one-seat majority for Democrat-appointed judges.
The Second Circuit presents a more consequential opening for Trump, “[g]iven its prominent role in cases involving financial regulation, national security, and major civil litigation, a conservative appointment could have a meaningful impact,” according to Just the News.

If you needed actual confirmation for some reason that the GOPe is just the controlled opposition wing of the Establishment Uniparty, consider that we're well into Trump's second year and they still haven't confirmed a good portion of his 2025 appointments. They're worse than worthless. They're counterproductive and counterintuitive.
In 2021 during Trump’s first term, even RINO Mitch McTurtle was an absolute machine of confirmations. The GOPe in 2025-2026 has been nothing short of a failure so abysmal that it couldn't possibly have been an accident.

But for some reason, the majority of vitriol on this board is directed at Trump, the guy who writes EOs we all support, and not the useless shitbags in congress who refuse to codify the changes we all want.
In the future, TDS will be an entire course of study about how almost an entire nation can be fooled into attacking the one person trying to change the corrupt system.
Even though Trump is not perfect, it's insane for him to be the focal point of derision when he has given us more than any politician in our lifetimes. If conservatives had dicks, they would do nothing but step on them.
