What hasn’t William Shatner done? The 94-year-old Star Trek legend/entertainer revealed a new project this week: a heavy metal album that he’ll release at some point in 2026 via Cleopatra Records. Of course, this won’t be Shatner’s first foray into music — he’s released several albums and had musical projects dating back to the 1960s — but this one sounds pretty epic indeed. Among other collaborators, Shatner is working alongside metal icons like Zakk Wylde, Henry Rollins and Ritchie Blackmore, and the album will include covers of songs made famous by the likes of Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden, among “35 hand-picked icons” on the record.

That's fine... He's about 30 years younger than Keith Richards.
