Is there a good, old, well established place to eat crawfish across the river from BR & fairly close? Plaquemine, Addis, etc.

The crawfish hole in Livonia comes to mind. Never been though.

Camilles, Crawfish Hole, and Not Your Mamas all come to mind. Not Addis/Plaquemine, but equidistant. There are a bunch of little boiling spots along LA1 (roadside stands) if you want to get them to go.
But there aren't any seafood only sit-down places on the West side of which I'm aware.
ETA Crawfish hole is hit or miss on size right now.

correct answer. They're one of the few places that makes crawfish somewhat spicy any more.

Pretty sure Hot Tails in New Roads is closed. I can absolutely guarantee you the original location on Hospital Road is closed.

just Googled and you are correct. Only the Prairieville and Zachary locations remain.
Rumors have it they bought the old Satterfield's location on the water in New Roads, but are having permit delays since it's a historical building.
