Injured his hand sliding into home this weekend. CJJ said he can run and play defense but cannot roll his hands over.

He might get Wally Pipped in this lineup.

Why do people give downvotes to questions like this?

Some of us aren’t able to keep up with every game and every injury.

It’s an honest question.

Jay Johnson is sending him a message that black history month doesn't mean shite.

Oh, and he hurt his hand.

Yes and no. Stanfield has more skins on the wall than the rest of the kids vying for playing time. Very experienced and unselfish SEC hitter, and a very good OF. Jay showed with Braswell that he'd beat the dead horse. He may not have had as many viable options to replace Braswell at his position, as evidenced by portaling 3 infielders excluding Yorke, but the points still stand. It's also still very early.

Because we have some rude people on this site. A bunch of punk know it all who's parents obviously taught them zero decency and respect. I'm a 61 yr old minister and I'm sick of ot.

He can’t hit as well as others so others are getting the chance

Stanfield was LSU’s leading hitter in the SEC last year.
And he would not have missed that ball in the second inning.
He will play when healthy.
