According to public records, the board’s executive budgets since fiscal year 2021-2022 and again in fiscal year 2025-2026 have included performance objectives requiring schools to prioritize students of “all races other than white [and] Asian.”
The board’s stated goal is to “increase the unduplicated number of underrepresented minorities (all races other than white, Asian)” earning a degree or credential “in a given academic year.”

The rot runs deep. I don’t know if we will ever recover from this ideology.

Don’t give them your white kids. They do not want them.

Meanwhile, self-described conservative Jeff Landry just sits by as all of this DEI fricking garbage just continues along. The first thing he should’ve done was fire that no-good race baiting complete fricking piece of racist filth William Tate. But he just sat by as Tate continued his racist and unconstitutional DEI policies. And now, he endorses Letlow, another DEI f*cking proponent?

This all depends on whether the goal is to increase the percentage of minorities who are successful in school and graduate rather than drop out. This is a laudable goal assuming all students are graded by the same criteria regardless of race.

I can't believe Kim Hunter-Reed has survived in state government this long.
