Marcus Thornton pro prospects?

Starting to believe that Marcus is a late first rounder and if he has a good showing at the Portsmouth Invitational in Virginia, he will move up the board fairly quickly. Seems like a down year for the draft, outside of Blake Griffin and Hasheem Thabeet, which should bode well for Marcus chances. Outside of Jodie Meeks and the the guy from Arizona State, not many two guards in the country are close to Marcus. What do yall think?

I never thought he would make it, but I am beginning to come around. I would think a 2nd rounder but crazier things have happened

Not trying to change the subject, but after the Pitt. game Thabeet looked like a big pu$$y

Marcus Thornton to the Hornets at the bottom of the first round?
Right now he's a projected early 2nd rounder...so it's possible he moves up to the late 1st

The average height of a starting NBA shooting guard is 6'-6". Most players under that average have phenomenal skills. His height will hurt him.

Too small.
Doesn't have the athleticism.
Best case scenario, he's a mid-late 2nd rounder.

Thanks for asking. No one's asked me anything since I was adamant that Glen Davis had no shot at the pros. Bearing in mind my earlier mistake, I think Marcus has a legitimate shot.
