Thinking about someone and then they call a few minutes later

Drove past a restaurant this evening that I last visited with friend who moved out of the area. I speak to this guy about every 3 months or so.
15 minutes after driving past the restaurant the friend calls me, unexpectedly, just to chat.
Does stuff like this happen to any of you? It isn’t the first time for me.

I inherited my mom's weirdness for this stuff. Not only does this happen to me often, many times I'll randomly think to call or text someone I hadn't spoken to in a long while, only to find out something happened to them within the week leading up to the call. Sometimes good things, mostly bad things.

The first automobile was invented in 1886.
83 years later, we're landing on the moon.
Horse and buggy to space travel in only 83 years is pretty wild.
Much intuition and hidden/unknown powers of the human mind exist in order for things like that to happen.
