You know, I hate to sound like some touchy-feely "everybody's a victim" type, but I do have a twinge of pity for that kid. I don't know what kind of environment it takes to make a kid that broken (thank god!), but when you think about it that kid is headed for much, much worse than a beatdown. If he's this disturbed at age 11, I'd guess he's the one more in danger of not making it past 21.

And while I rationally know that beating his parents won't actually solve anything, I do sorely feel the visceral desire for whoever broke this little shite to suffer greatly.
