I'm pretty sure this is true, and would be true not matter what the team affiliations were. Saban may be disingenuous in his professional dealing and a bastard to work for, but I've never seen anything to suggest he would stand for kids bullying another kid in a wheelchair. In fact, a letter like this just might inspire him to do some "community service" action like send a letter to the school or whatever.

Of course, it's probabaly more likely that he'd just toss it and a go back to his Little Debbies, but I think it's worth a shot. If he did take an interest, I'd bet it would make a huge difference.
