I know everything is not made to last like the old days but I have to replace my Frigidaire electric oven I had since 2011. What is a reliable brand to buy today?

I’ve heard good things about the GE Cafe range (both the gas and electric are good)
They look like the “PRO” ranges but without the “pro” price tag
You know the big beefy handle and knobs
The industrial restaurant look
They are really nice looking

Yeah, this would be the only way I would go to if forced to not have a gas cooktop or range. Most of my cookware is induction compatible already, I have two induction standalone units I use to free up range space or for specific tasks like using my double-boiler.

+1 on induction, we've been using an induction cooktop, and i prefer it over the range, heating is instant. I use carbon steel, I wouldn't use a pan with any coating other than ceramic.
