Headed to Antigua for 5 nights late July. The hotel has a nonrefundable policy. Not really worried about flights as I can get a credit. Would like to be able to get a refund if we have to cancel.

My wife and I have elderly parents so mostly worried about unexpected things with them and of course hurricane season.

Looking for most reliable companies and estimated costs.

I used IMG Insurance for a big expensive cruise this summer. They have an affordable CFAR policy that was appealing to us due to some potential non-covered work possibilities. It's a very comprehensive policy that runs about 5% of the insured trip cost

Allianz annual plan if you travel frequently enough, otherwise shop for the single-trip plan you need at insuremytrip.com. Very easy to shop/compare.

We’ve done a few trips to St. John in late July and used insuremytrip. Never had to actually utilize it for a claim though. Will be doing it again for a late July trip to Exuma this summer.
