I have never been in a marching band and neither have my kids, but I always enjoy band performances at college football games. My kids go to a school where they have a very talented marching band program - one that competes at a national level and produces DCI band members.
DCI stands for drum corps international - its basically the major leagues of marching band. Unbelievable talent and hard not to respect.
Apparently they are woke out of their mind. They just canceled a contract with a company called Marching Health - a company that provides doctors and PTs for bands, including Alabama and Mizzou because one of the doctors liked a Matt Walsh post.
How big was the DCI contract? Enough to close down the entire operation
