No, they don't hit either.
That said, fighting in the Olympics is much more harshly punished than in the NHL so don't expect what went down in the Four Nations

They can hit in the PWHL. I think it’s still pretty restricted though.

It's more shouldering and jostling, you have to be going the same direction. You can't pin or hit a player against the boards. And open ice hits are a big no-no.

They can pin and hit against the boards. You’re right about head on open ice collisions though.

Just can't open ice check. Those USA and Canada girls get after it and games between them are pretty much full contact. Refs put the whistles away and let them go at it. Those two teams prefer it that way.
