over 40 years covering the outdoors, hunting, and fishing every Saturday morning on WWL 870AM. Don was up to date on all the legislation, hunting/fishing season changes with limits, and knew most every charter boat captain & business. Don loved everything about hunting and fishing Louisiana and promoted it often. He's a US ARMY Veteran, 75 yrs old, and moving from LA to be closer to his 3 daughters. Enjoy your retirement brother

Absolutely loved listening to his show. The recordings would play through a few local stations here in coastal AL, always entertaining. He is a legend for sure and will be missed!

Going to miss Don. I was privileged to be on his show many times over the past year and a half. Great man!
