This is a very stylish, chick-ish breakfast and lunch spot (really more breakfast) that opened up Uptown connected to the Ocavia Book Store
Its really nice looking inside and VERY popular, there was a wait.
My coffee was fine but nothing special, my wife got a flavored latte that she really liked.
I thought the food was actually pretty damn good, and a lot of other's people's food that came out looked great.
I got the Croque (their's had proscuitto and they did raclette cheese) and a side of the cheese grits. I thought it was very good. They are well known for the baked egg dishes and I would get that next time.
My wife got the open faced crab bake that she liked but didn't love. It looked really nice but she thought there was too much pimento. She got a side of patatas bravas she really liked.
I'd go back. I did think it was kinda pricey for breakfast food, and just wouldn't get the side as it comes with chips or a salad anyway.
It was extremely high quality though, just know going in its not at all going to be diner prices or food.
Definitely more geared towards girls/women.

My mom lives very close and has been twice for lunch. She and her old biddy friends like it.

The baked egg dish with boudin is delicious. I don't want to think about how many calories were in it. The cream gravy was very rich.

Glad to hear--really miss Toast. The place that opened there after Toast (Scramble) was quite awful.
