How convoluted and stupid. This, along with the NFL Pro Bowl, have become totally irrelevant.

I get why the Pro Bowl has gone away.
The NBA All Star Weekend is a joke. These millionaires are so afraid of pulling a muscle and having their ego bruised that they’d rather find excuses to not play.

Meh. The game has never been a real basketball game. Nobody puts in any effort.
So they need a gimmick to draw viewers. The NHL did a North America vs The World format for a few years and on another occasion, a series of mini games with the four divisions.

The mid season tourney is also stupid
I love the playin for the playoffs
The all.star game should be moved to being played the week before the NBA finals start
And make the Dunk contest and 3pt the main focus
We dont need 4 nights of it either

I don’t hate it. The ASG sucks. There’s a chance they actually compete a little this way. International team will dominate if healthy.
