I’ve been holding off on starting anything big in anticipation for this one. However, I did see a review today that said it’s not a narrative driven game but more focused on gameplay which I’m not really fired up about. I play games for the story. Not a huge deal breaker though, will play it by ear.

This is the review I’m referring to:

It looks incredibly impressive. My biggest worry for the game is that it’ll be insanely over scope and stretched thin that all the systems are miles wide but an inch deep.

Yup. This is the game I've been waiting for, along with Phantom Blade Zero. Just started Code Vein 2 in the mean time and will probably get Nioh 3 afterwards. Those two should take me to March.

Yea that gameplay trailer is absolutely insane with how good it looks. I just hope it’s a true cohesive project and not something that feels like it was duct taped together.

Yea the game is like a hybrid of breath of the wild and devil may cry while looking completely next gen. If it is actually good as it looks; seems like possible game of the year lock (assuming GTA doesn’t actually launch this year)

Combat definitely looks like where it’s going to shine with all the different options and styles. I’m getting more pumped for this. Looks like it’s going to call for multiple playthroughs

Yeah, I’ve had this on my radar for a while. Been watching all of Luke Stephens videos on it.

Haven’t decided if I’ll pre order or not though.

Apparently isn’t. Just a straight full game.

It looks cool, but I don't buy any open world games until there are a few weeks of reviews in the books.

Those games can be really fun for a few play sessions and then one day you just don't feel like touching it anymore

Apparently the review embargo drops 2 weeks before the games release, which I think is a very good sign. At the very least the studio is extremely confident in their product.

Hopefully the hook is great and early.

I've found myself losing interest in a game really quickly as I've gotten older.

I played the prologue of RDR2 four times before I finally got hooked on it.

Expedition 33 grabbed me early, thank God.
