Can people who attend that Church go after Don Lemon for filming them without their consent and uploading their faces for millions to see all over the internet?

I know there are laws protecting this in public spaces but what about in a private space like a Church?

If nothing happens to Don Lemon because of a liberal activist judge.. can individuals sue him and wipe out his banking account for what he did?

I think they can keep his legal life busy if they wanted to.

Apparently it doesn’t matter anymore or it may not even be illegal. You see tons of videos of agitators that are filming stores and pissing people off and the cops allow it. Not just in blue states either.

I am going to take a guess that there were some lawyers present at the service, or at the very least there will be some present related to or even work for some. If there is an angle for a lawsuit, I’m sure we will see it filed in the coming future.

If the church so desires to go after Lemon, I would gladly donate to a legal fund.

How about a civil suits for emotional distress against women and children at prayer that fled out of fear for their lives.

As a reminder, people at prayer in Minnesota have been terrorized fairly recently.
quote:

On August 27, 2025, a mass shooting occurred at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis during a school-wide Mass, resulting in the deaths of two children and injuries to 17 others, including many students.

The shooter, identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, died by suicide at the scene, and the incident is being investigated as a hate crime and act of domestic terrorism.

The so called protest group had to know that rushing into a church at service would create fear and terror.

I had the same question, particularly when it comes to the minors. Also, I realize there’s a high standard for defamation but putting those church members faces all over the internet then doing the podcast circuit and referring to them as white supremists seems like it could result in legal action.

Funny how these types of things never happen in the South.

It's legal if the people are in public.

Not on private property.
