You mean to tell me that a 5 year veteran at the time could perform better than a rookie or second year player with a handful of starts? Especially when the newer player isn’t getting coached up? I’m shocked.

That's because Cousins point-blank told ZR what he wanted to do, and ZR just did it. Cousins was effectively calling his own offense.

Penix either didn't have the stones to do that, or didn't know how. Either way, ZR left a lot to be desired. I think he can be a good OC eventually, but he ain't, right now.

Tampa’s problem is the HC who also calls defense. They gave up so many games last year late via D. He’s fired everyone but the problem (him). But Zac could do well there, especially since Baker is onboard. And Baker worked with him before.

Yeah it doesn’t matter till they get rid of Bowles. It’s insane he kept his job while guys like Harbaugh and McDermott got fired.

Next year they’ll pick up right where they left off and probably win 5 games or less.
