Who else is pumped for America's iconic 24-hour endurance race?
Qualifying is tomorrow at 3:05 PM CST. The green flag drops at 12:40 PM CST on Saturday.
There are some notable non-IMSA drivers I'll identify in the OP to garner wider interest.
Colton Herta, of Indycar fame and now the reserve driver for Cadillac's F1 team, is driving the #40 Cadillac in the GTP class for Wayne Taylor Racing.
AJ Allmendinger, a three-time NASCAR race winner, is driving the #60 Acura in the GTP class for Meyer Shank Racing.
Three-time Indycar champion and Indy 500 winner Alex Palou is driving the #93 Acura in the GTP class for Meyer Shank Racing.
Logan Sargeant, a former F1 driver, is driving the #18 in the LMP2 class for Era Motorsport.
Christian Rasmussen, an Indycar race winner, is driving the #99 in the LMP2 class for AO Racing (Spike!).
Nolan Siegel, an Indycar driver, is driving the #343 in the LMP2 class for Inter Europol Competition.
Kyle Kirkwood, an Indycar race winner, is driving the #14 Lexus in the GTD Pro class for Vasser Sullivan Racing.
Juri Vips, a former Indycar driver, is driving the #59 McLaren in the GTD Pro class for Rahal Letterman Lanigan.
Will Power, a two-time Indycar champ and winner of the Indy 500, is driving the #75 Mercedes in the GTD Pro class for 75 Express.
Former Indycar and F1 star Romain Grosjean is driving the #16 Ford Mustang for Myers Riley Motorsport in the GTD class.

In. Love me some Rolex24 as a kickoff to the year's racing.
ETA: For the record, I'm a BMW fan, but the bird was justified.

Not going this year but froze our asses off last year in my 3rd Rolex 24. (Of course the weather looks mild this year. All three times I’ve been it’s been freezing or freezing and record setting rainfall, 2019)
[the 4am to sunrise stint was some of the coldest I’ve ever been, and we were plenty layered, but the payoff for the sunrise is well worth it. Sunset was fantastic too last year]
*im most excited to see Zillich going for the overall win. Kid was so fast last year

BMW and Aston Martin shite the bed in GTP qualifying. It's a 24 hour race, so whatever, but it doesn't bode well. That Aston Martin sure does look and sound good going around the track, though. The best looking prototype, imo.
The GT and LMP2 categories look as spicy as ever. I don't know if any of y'all sim race, but I race a lot in Le Mans Ulitmate, and those LMP2s are squirrelly little bastards.
