I wanna draft but at the same time I want a smaller league. If MSU's leagues gonna be 10 or more ppl I'll create a 2nd league, with a draft, w/ 8 teams.

I voted in that poll, but I'm not playing in the league.

I'm not gonna tell you which side I voted for though.

Here's the problem with a small league though. Everyone would choose their own favorite teams, spread out all over each division in each league. If you want to do a small league, everyone should stick to two divisions like the NL East and NL Central, that way you play each other a lot more often.

I like bigger leagues, because you're always playing somebody mostly instead of just the computer most of the time.

smaller leagues with a draft also suck because everybody's roster is an all-star team.

This is true. Which is not very realistic. I don't truly care what we do, I just want to play in a league.

Big leagues always fall apart, but last year they didnt have the free schedule feature. If we can schedule our own games whenever and play whoever at any time it may work better. Like if I sign on and see TT4E online we can decide to play our week 5 game right now then it may make the league run smoother.

Also I thought of the small league, fantasy draft idea would give everyone an all star team. Not realistic but still might be fun anyway.

Right now I'm thinking 8 team league no draft. The top 8 teams n league should be pretty even. If you wanna pick a less ranked team cuz they're ur favorite then thats on you.

tchamp you commished last year right?

Yes he did, and I basically agree with what you're saying.

Smaller league = no draft, if everyone picks 'higher' tier teams

Larger league = draft, so that the person stuck with the Royals or Pirates doesnt bitch about having to play the Yankees or Red Sox.

I think he's just backing out from being a commish (not from participating in the league); which, if you follow this entire thread, will also think is a good idea.

Yeah thats fine. I can start it up for us. But if I'm not mistaken, last year you had to play 10 online games before you could actually create a league. Which won't be too bad, but I won't be able to do it right away, if that rule is still into effect.

Yeah this was how 2k7 was, and we where all pretty aggravated that we couldn't do this last year. People had scheduling conflicts, I had to give some people forfeits. Which then some people would quit for that reason.

Thats fine, but like tt4e said fantasy drafts in small league can get retarded. I think this should be decided once everyone gets the game, and we all know how many people will be involved. If the league is large, and people quit we will have just have to deal with it.

Or like you said make two small leagues like they did with NCAA Football.
