I understand as a fan you want all 5 stars on your team but…

Last night the team with all those 5 stars got their arse kicked… just because a kid is coming from a smaller school doesn’t mean he can’t play..everyone on this board would love to have chambliss as our QB next year and yep you guest it he came from Ferris st. So let’s not judge these portal moves until the season start based on Lane’s past portal classes we will be fine!!! Go tigers

The guy that won the Heisman and will play in the national championship game was a 2 star

Those 3 stars last night were also 23 year olds.

Yea, they were very good, but that is also a team absolutely filled with 22 and 23 yo productive college players.

IU on average is older than the Green Bay Packers right now. They will continue to be a threat. They also have had major coaching staff continuity with Cignetti so that helps as well. Identity, develop, and build an actual culture that's healthy and process driven just like Cignetti. Mendoza is just icing on the cake.
