Today, Chairman James Comer of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee named Rep. Burchett Chairman of the Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE). Rep. Burchett said: “The American people are fed up with wasteful spending and fraud in the federal government. Under my leadership, I will eliminate reckless spending, slash unnecessary bureaucratic red tape, and investigate the rampant fraud and abuse in government.”

PS - Tim Burchett doesn't get enough attention, imo. He has always come across to me as one of the few truly Good Guys.
Obtw, Tim's the guy who was being interviewed when Swamp Rat Kevin McCarthy purposely bumped into him right after McCarthy was ousted as SOTU. Hey, anybody who can make McCarthy that mad has to be a pretty decent guy.

He has been talking about wanting this for months. I think it is something he is very passionate about. He's going to do a great job because he also has his finger on the MAGA pulse online. In other words, he knows what MAGA is pissing and moaning about all day

Makes me proud as hell seeing Tim get this position. He's a good man and has done a great job serving Tennesseans for as long as I can remember. Regardless of politics, he's just a regular dude like the rest of us who loves his country and cares about his people. He's exactly the type of person we need in D.C and helping lead DOGE
