It was not that long ago when a 12 team playoff system for college football sounded like a pipe dream. This year has been great with so much to watch. Yes, there were a couple teams that did not belong and that needs to be tweaked. But overall, this playoff season has been very compelling.

I keep waiting for Indiana to be Indiana, but they look Los for real. How is it even possible they would be better than Ohio State? The Miami Ole Miss game was great fun to watch, as was Ole Miss and Georgia.

I get the SEC pride thing and all, but watching Indiana destroy Bama was also awesome.

Its looking like an Indiana/Miami final. Give me Indiana. Those guys have a special season going. Not as good as the 2019 LSU team, but they dont look like a fluke at all.

In any event, the 12 team playoff system made college football better. Now they just have to figure out how to put the best 12 teams in. Did anybody really think Tulane was better than Texas?

The 12 team playoff is off to a great start. Put the best teams n next year though. Ole Miss beat Tulane 41-10. I am no Texas fan, but tell the truth. How much more likely have you watched a college football playoff game between texas and Ole Miss instead of Ole Miss and Tulane, no offense to Tulane, just keeping it real.

This year gave us parity. Last year it gave Ohio State and Notre Dame mulligans.

G5 doesn’t belong, top 12 teams and roll

BCS would have nailed the NC landing.

Kidding.

Agree.

Really? An OSU team that lost to one of the worst Michigan teams in recent history won it all last year. This year, a Miami team that recorded inexplicable losses to SMU and Louisville could win it all.

Only the two Ole Miss games and Miami/A&M were close and the latter was a dud and the OM-UGA game was exactly the same as the regular season game with the opposite outcome.

The committee screwed up the seeding in a way that allowed for too many rematches both years.
