Title self explanatory. I've finished Jack Carr fiction books including Cry Havoc. Looking for similar - had a similar post a while back, trying to further narrow down. Thanks.

I haven't found anything as good.

I'm gonna try Tier Once simply because the audiobooks are narrated by Ray Porter.

Mike Lawson has a series of books featuring Joe Demarco who is a “fixer” for the Speaker of the House. Good series. More domestic than international in tone.

They all owe their existence to John Clark.

You might want to check out the Case Lee series. The books all have "Job" in the title, for example the first one is The Suriname Job.
Case is a former Delta Force operator who now works doing "investigations" for a mysterious Swiss company. The books are very realistic and you can tell that the author, Vince Milam, has lived at least some of the experiences he writes about.
