Johnny Jones wasn’t a great coach, but he wasn’t the horrible coach people make him out to be.
LSU in the SEC standings under him was 8th, 6th, 3rd, 3rd, then 13th.
His biggest downfall was not making the NCAA tournament with the can’t miss greatest prospect ever Ben Simmons then losing control of the program. I think everyone now sees what a cancer Simmons is to a school/program/organization.
