Opening Night and Children

For those with children,how many parents are taking their kids, so that even if they do not understand the significance of the event, one day they will and be thankful?

Family night for us...my Mom and Dad, Me and the Wife and our three kids...we will take lots of pics so the kids can look back and understand the awesomeness of the night.

leaving junior at home so I can enjoy the experience. He can come on Sunday.

But wouldn't that be cool for the 1 or 2 year old kid who, when he is 25 or even 80 can say... I was here in this stadium for the very first game

By the time a 1 or 2 year old kid reaches 25, there will be 40,000 people who claim to have been at the first game at the New Box.

There's probably about 150,000 people who claim to have been in Tulane Stadium for the first Saints game, even though it only held about 85,000.

He's 18 months old.... the temp. will be in the 40's on Friday night. He will be alright. He can go to the first game in the new football stadium one day.

We are leaving our one year old at home where she belongs in 40 degree weather!
