I feel underwhelmed by this moment in hindsight, which is weird bc I was there and nearly broke my ankle jumping on my seat in the 500 level to celebrate. My foot went into the gap between the seat back and seat

A day a bunch of nobodies stepped up to beat "The Greatest Show on Turf"

Joe Horn either didn't play or was hurt very early in the game

Robert Wilson went wild

All 1 week after the Rams came to the Dome & won to even make the playoffs (and IIRC denied the Saints a top-2 seed & 1st round bye)

What a day! Thinking of Hendo's call, which makes me miss him all the more. "Brian Milne, the unlikeliest of heroes!"

I was there for that one (as well as the playoff game a week later - Hakim fumbled that punt right in front of me). In that regular season finale, Marshall Faulk put on one of the greatest performances I've ever seen from an NFL RB. He was virtually unstoppable.

I love seeing people wearing his jersey on gameday. Real ones know.

I love the story about that season with our uniforms

We were a better road team that season... possibly b/c of our jerseys

The black jerseys were looser... allowing opposing teams to grab our players easier

The white jerseys were tighter and not so easy to grab

ETA: that was said in interviews from players & coaches talking about that particular game & season

They absolutely smoked us the final game of the season by just handing the ball to Marshall Faulk. We couldn’t stop him.

Martz being the smartest man in the room opted to go away from Marshall Faulk the next week in the playoff game.
