How do they figure out which divisions we will play? Looking back on this years schedule it was tough. Played a lot of playoff teams
early.
Seahawks,Rams,49ers,Bills,Pats,Bears.

You need to add 1 NFC East team.

For anyone curious, here is how they do it

https://operations.nfl.com/gameday/nfl-schedule/creating-the-nfl-schedule/

quote:

Here’s a breakdown of how each team’s opponents are set:

Six games against divisional opponents — two games per team, one at home and one on the road.
Four games against teams from a division within its conference — two games at home and two on the road.
Four games against teams from a division in the other conference — two games at home and two on the road.
Two games against teams from the two remaining divisions in its own conference — one game at home and one on the road. Matchups are based on division ranking from the previous season.
The 17th game is an additional game against a non-conference opponent from a division that the team is not scheduled to play. Matchups are based on division ranking from the previous season.

The conference in the NFC you play is on a 3-year rotating basis, in the AFC it is on a 4-year basis. The team you play in the other divisions in your conference, as well as a team from a division you are not playing in the other conference (also on a rotating basis), is the team that finished in the same position as you (1st plays 1st, 2nd plays 2nd, etc.)

2023. They lost.
2020. They lost.

We've beaten them 8 straight times until this year.
