Duck report big lake area?

Anyone with a duck report just north of the coast/holly beach? Along big lake. Going with a buddy of mine during the week.

Kemo Jr hunts holly beach and it’s been terrible (dealing troofs). Be optimistic and get a blt @ Cajun fast mart.

I don’t know of anyone hunting it now commercially. Hrg let that go years ago and moved to JB on Dore.

I have hunted Creole for the past two Saturdays. 8 hunters killed 35 last Saturday (which was opening day) and 8 hunters killed 20 this past Saturday.

You know how you could drive down hwy 27 and always see a good bit of ducks on side of road in the marsh? The last two days I have driven down there I have seen maybe 5 gadwalls and 15 hooded mergansers.

2008 and I’m not egzzergating, from Gibbstown bridge to creole there were a million ducks right off 14 most of the season. 08-09 our place in GC was probably holding a 100,000 on 4 sections.

I work with some younger fellows and I bet they have gone 12 times this year and haven’t killed 10 ducks total Many times never taking their gun off safety. And they come to work and all they talk about is the next hunt it’s wild
