This is not an optical illusion.
This is not an optical illusion.

The generational contest pitting Sabalenka, 27, against Kyrgios was played using alternative rules. Players were given one serve each and Sabalenka's court was nine per cent smaller than her opponent's.

Data collected by Evolve which claims to find that women move nine per cent slower than men is the reason behind the court, while the one-serve directive was aimed at reducing Kyrgios' power.

Australian star Kyrgios, 30, swept aside the women's world No 1 6-3, 6-3 at the Coca-Cola Arena in their controversial match in Dubai.

A US Federal Judge will Intervene and declare the female Official Winner.

Wait, this isn't correct. Evolve is sexist then. We are told constantly they are equal. And when a man that thinks he's a woman.....well he magically becomes one and is "equal".
This is all so confusing.
Can one of our resident expert groomers chime and in and help me understand the double speak here?

We should all thank the BBC. Can't speak for other nations but...that sh!t don't play well here so thanks for the reminder.

Western World Culture has nearly reached peak insanity.
FWIW my wife just told me that all women should be insulted by that court (she's an avid tennis player and enthusiast) and that woman is a disgrace to all women for accepting the handicap.
Then she cited Billy Jean King vs Bobby Riggs.
To which I responded, "Riggs was 55, King was 29."
The rest of the conversation went as expected.

Didn't king get doubles lines, vs Riggs getting singles lines?

Nope they played by the same rules and it was even a 5 set match (men's rules).
The only thing suspicious was the claims that Riggs let King win the match to pay off debts to the mafia. Earlier in the year Riggs beat Margret Court (The number one female player in 73) and beat her handily.

Silly this had to happen. Serena admitted years ago she’d get smoked by her male counterparts.

Awhile back yes. Saw them both play not against each other. Bobby was probably the source lol. A grifter at heart. BR couldn’t hold BKs jock.

Because she and her sister did get destroyed by a nobody tour player who did not even take the matches seriously.

quote:
The claim that Bobby Riggs was paid to throw the 1973 "Battle of the Sexes" match against Billie Jean King is based on allegations from Hal Shaw, a former assistant golf pro who said he overheard mobsters discussing a fix. According to Shaw, Riggs was allegedly in debt to the mob for over $100,000 from sports betting and agreed to lose the match to erase the debt, with the promise of having his debt forgiven and receiving additional money placed in a bank account in England. However, this account is disputed by multiple individuals close to Riggs.
Riggs’ best friend, Lornie Kuhle, strongly denies the allegations, calling the story "the most far-fetched" he has ever heard and questioning the plausibility of such a meeting occurring in a golf pro shop at midnight. Kuhle also argues that Riggs could not have quietly placed large bets on King in Las Vegas, as sports books at the time had strict limits and large wagers would have moved the odds noticeably. Billie Jean King herself dismissed the story as "ridiculous," stating she could see in Riggs’ eyes and body language that he wanted to win, and that she was certain he did not tank the match. She emphasized that the result remains unchanged: she won fairly.
Riggs’ son, Larry Riggs, acknowledged that his father knew mob figures and said it was "possible" they discussed fixing the match, but he believed Riggs lost with the intention of setting up a rematch for a bigger payday. Riggs himself, in interviews before his death, denied throwing the match, attributing his loss to overestimating himself and underestimating King, and claimed he tried his best. He even took a lie detector test in 1983 to prove he did not fix the match, passing the test.
In summary, while allegations suggest Riggs was paid to throw the match, these claims are not substantiated by credible evidence and are contradicted by Riggs’ close associates, his son, and King herself. The consensus among those who knew him best is that the match was genuine and Riggs lost due to poor preparation and overconfidence, not a prearranged fix.

Tennis is the most rigged sport in the world. Only their best 19 matches over 52 weeks count towards their rank. If they play any more they can lose as much as they want or when the betting line benefits them to do so.

That chick looks like she would be dynamite in bed.
Something about her.

What in the frick have we been arguing for the past 10 years?
It’s fricking bonkers.
Now women all of a sudden are slower. Are they retarded too?
