Hopefully that's the end of it.
Probably a civil suit coming though with grifter lawyers representin'

However, the grand jury who weighed evidence in the case declined to indict Bard, after his attorney argued “he was justified in shooting two people who were beating his son.” Bard was on campus to help move his younger son move out because “multiple armed, violent” attacks had allegedly taken place.
Hopefully that's the end of it.

I'm not lawsuit-happy, but they probably have a case against the university.

I was thinking the deceased man's family suing...
...but I think you're right about the victim's family having a case.

Yeah, Bard's family. Pretty clear that KSU failed in their obligations to provide a safe environment.

I don't know of a single Kentuckian who blames him for opening fire. Good shoot if you ask me.

Dad should be proactive and sue them for battery first. He will never be able to collect on a judgment, but plaintiff attorneys are less likely to want to take the case if they are also having to defend.

The first state to pass a law hiding the identity of shooters who are protecting a life will get my tax money. Shame this guys gonna get tore up in civil court.
