Hosting a heic pic?

I'm totally lost here. I was send a photo by an iPhone user and it's a heic file? Is there something simple I can do to host it at imgur? Nothing I have tried has worked.

There are free conversion site on the web so you can create a jpg from it.

I'm assuming you have a Windows machine.The imgur app is supposed to handle heic now, but on windows your only access is via the website. Your OS nad/or browser may be the problem. Try opening the website and installing it as an app.
Open website, Click the browser three dots (...) > Apps > Install this site as an app.
With Windows 11 all image utilities I use have no problem with heic. Check for upgrades.
