OK I missed it! What changed on Robinson coming to LSU as Dline coach

and it appears the new dline coach will be Sterling somebody from SC. Anyone have an update

I mean it's a fair question.
I also thought at one point that it was talked about like it was a done deal. I even thought it was official for a few days.
Guy clearly likes college station or Elko to go back.
He's a damn good recruiter but whatever, I'm really happy with Lucas.

if I am reading this correctly, our new dline coach only has experience with DEs and LBs and he will be working with Peoples, another DE coach.
Not sure what the thinking is but LSU needs top interior dline coaching. Looks like we are going to miss KW. Some things just don't make sense.

He’s a bit of a drama queen and a divisive figure in the locker room. He wasn’t fond of splitting DL duties with another coach and was looking for the best “title” he could get.

Why don't you research more before making dumb arse questions. The dude coached for years in the NFL. And the the dl for south Carolina wasn't the problem. He's a damn good coach and recruiter.

Lucas also coached DL with the Ravens,I think tackles.

Boy you definitely are out of the know with Lucas. Dude is as much of a slam dunk hire as Robinson would have been. Hell of a coach and a recruiter as well.
