Ngl watching the playoffs back to back years without us being in is a hard to stomach

I have faith Kiffin will handle business in the portal and bring some impact pieces on both sides of the ball. LSU is too big of a brand to go 2 straight years missing the 12 team playoff

The playoff started in 2014. LSU has been in a whopping 1 time.
But only these last 2 back to back years is hard to stomach???
Why do our fans act like we are a perennial playoff team??

Cuz the last 2 years are the only ones where TWELVE other teams are in it. I don’t think it’s demanding to want LSU to be a top 12 team once in a two year span lol

We aren’t a perennial playoff team in the 4 team format, but 5 SEC teams just made a 12 team playoff. We should absolutely expect to finish top 4-5 in the conference every year. Anything less is not the standard, nor should it be.

We are down to the Final 8 teams which is what most of us feel the sweet spot is anyway.
I now look at the first 4 games as “play in” games because they were fringe Top 8.
Extra football but not really interesting matchup wise until that first weekend is over.
