Does anyone here have a wireless carplay adaptor that has been absolutely bulletproof for over a year? I replaced one recently and the bluetooth wouldnt connect for almost 60 seconds after starting the car.
The Carlink 5.0 is the one i had to return because it was not working properly.

I've had two no name brands in the last 18 months, the second one is better than the first, but both suffer from the same problem (which may not be adapter related.)
When my iPhone is on wifi in my house, it prevents my phone from connecting to the adapter. I have to turn off BT on my phone 90% of the time after I get out of wifi range, and turn it back on, to get it to connect. Because it happened with both, I don't think it's the adapter's fault. This is the one I have had for 2 months.

They all work about the same. They are probably all using the same firmware. Just get one of the small ones that don’t have a cord.
There will be a delay in the audio.

I have had some random brand I installed in my MDX. Works great. Only issue is the connection radius is about 1 foot. If my phone is in my pocket it will lose connection
